BUSI 122 - Supply Chain Management

 

This course will introduce students to the general framework of the supply chain management. They will be able to analyze key drivers of the supply chains performance. They will also learn about facility, inventory, transportation, sourcing and information pricing.

The learning outcomes of this course are:

  • Learning about interactions between supply chain management and marketing
  • Learning about interactions between supply chain management and information systems
  • Learning about interactions between supply chain management and new product development
  • Finding sourcing structures and their influences on the supply chain
  • Being able to understand the basic concepts and key drivers in supply chain management
  • Being able to understand the relationships between supply chain management and marketing
  • Being able to understand the relationships between supply chain management and new product development
  • Being able to understand the relationships between supply chain management and e-business and sourcing
