ICTM 635 - Advanced Wireless Systems and Networks


This course will help students understand the performance of different wireless networks in modern cities, in the context of: functionality, architecture, resource allocation and mutual interaction.

The learning outcomes of this course are:

  • Understanding the driving factors behind mobile data growth and challenges related to cost and interference
  • Discussing the basics of wireless data transmission in terms of propagation channel, link budget, and deployment

Pre-Requisites: ITCM 601
