This course will help students understand the performance of different wireless networks in modern cities, in the context of: functionality, architecture, resource allocation and mutual interaction.
The learning outcomes of this course are:
- Understanding the driving factors behind mobile data growth and challenges related to cost and interference
- Discussing the basics of wireless data transmission in terms of propagation channel, link budget, and deployment
