ICTM 607 - Software Development Methodologies

 

In this course students learn about system development life cycles and the methodologies used by these life cycles with specific emphasis on those required in software development.

The learning outcomes of this course are:

  • Linking projects with organization’s strategic plans, documenting the business needs and justifications for the project
  • Defining and managing the overall scope of the project, documenting project goals, deliverables, constraints, performance criteria and resource requirements in consultation with project stakeholders
  • Interacting with team and stakeholders in a professional manner, respecting differences, to ensure a collaborative project management environment
  • Implementing the PMI project management knowledge areas, processes

Pre-Requisites: ICTM 604
